Zuben “Zuby” Adi Postvala, 63, of Danville, VA, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. He was born on March 14, 1959, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, to the late Adi Jimmy Postvala and the late Perin Limithwala Postvala. He worked in sales and jewelry design at Diamond District Jewelry in Greensboro, NC. He loved his job and his clients loved him very much. He had such a happy disposition with everyone that he met. He also loved playing pool with his Daddy on his days off and spending Sundays off with his wife Leanne and family. He is survived by his wife, Leanne Blair Mealer Postvala; a daughter, Kaizeen Postvala; a brother, Cyrus Postvala; three sisters, Kashmira Postvala Hiwale, Prity Postvala Irani, and Dolly Postvala Limithwala; several nieces and nephews, of India; a brother-in-law, Ted Longmire, Jr. and wife Lisa; and nieces and nephews, Afton and Eugene Eagle, Addison, Aiden, Elaina, Cassie, and Chris Upton, Isaac, Sam, Emily, and James. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by Philip Henderson Mealer and Margaret Spooner “Peggy” Mealer. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Townes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Donor Care Center, PO Box 758541, Topeka, KS, 66675-8541 or the charity of your choice.
