Wayne Adams

Wayne Ray Adams 70 of Danville, VA went to be with the Lord on Friday April 24, 2015.He was retired from Goodyear where he worked for many years. He was born in Danville, VA on December 18, 1944 to the late Jesse James Adams and the late Virginia Gore Adams. Wayne was predeceased by his brother Jesse A. Adams and sister Sandra J. Adams. He leaves behind former wife Brenda Haymore. He is survived by son Gary Adams (Kim), son Tony Adams (Laurie) and daughter Crystal A. Hipkins (Brian). Sister Brenda A. Kendrick (Doug) and sister Robin A. Gibson. Also surviving are eight beloved grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday April 27th at Danville Memorial Gardens at 11:00AM with Rev. Doug Barber officiating. The Family will receive friends on Sunday April 26th from 7:00PM-8:30PM at Townes Funeral Home and at other times at Daughters residence at 48 Double Tree Ct. Townes Funeral Home and Crematory at 215 West Main Street will be serving the Adams Family.
