Wade Darrell Bralley, 85, formerly of Danville, passed away on July 30, 2013 at Greenfield Senior Living in Fredericksburg, Virginia with his daughter and granddaughter at his side. He was born in Pulaski, Virginia. He was educated at Radford High School and Lynchburg College and served honorably in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Wade retired in 1985 following a successful career in public service with the Federal Government, notably working at the Pentagon for the US Air Force. Wade was predeceased by his father, Arthur Jefferson Bralley, his mother, Ethel Bralley Ellison, a sister, Ethel Annette Bralley Wohlford, and a nephew, Marcus Ellison Wohlford. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Earles Bralley, his daughter Betsy Willsey, granddaughter Lauren Willsey, and Betsy's husband, Rick Willsey, all of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by a niece, Barbara Wohlford Marshall and her husband, Wade of Blacksburg, a nephew, William Guy Wohlford and his wife Connie of Radford, and a cousin, Frank Fletcher of Waynesboro. A memorial service will be held at Fairview United Methodist Church on August 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Fredericksburg Walk to End Alzheimer's, Team Never Forget, at alz.org.
