Ursula Adkins

Ursula L. Adkins, age 92 of 240 Lady Astor Place, died on October 12, 2021. Born June 24, 1929 in Berlin, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Rudolf Dalluege and Hildegard Dalluege. She was married to the late Clarence Adkins. She was an active member of Ascension Lutheran Church. She came to this country in 1952 and lived in Danville. In 1955 she moved with her husband to Baltimore, Maryland, where she lived 37 years. She was employed by Cigna Insurance Company as an administrative secretary. She moved to Danville after her retirement. She worked a few years for the Daniel Group as a receptionist. She is survived by two sons Christopher R. Adkins of Miami, FL, Gregory S. Adkins of Danville, VA, one step son Victor Adkins (Mary) and their son Brian Adkins all of Christiansburg, VA. She is also survived by a sister Renate Norris (William) and their son Andy Norris. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Danville Memorial Gardens.
