Torlonia Crouch

Mrs. Torlonia (Toni)  Apple Crouch, age 85 of 2340 West Sunrise Drive, Dry Fork, died on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at her residence after a short decline in health. Toni was born in Danville on April 12, 1932, a daughter of the late Robert Saunders Apple and Mary Ann Morris Apple.  She retired from Maola Milk and Ice Cream in 2007.  She had worked at Virginia Bank and Trust Company for 15 years and Link-Watson for over 20 years.  In 1952 she married Clyde Lee Crouch, Sr. who died on October 8, 2008.  Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her siblings, Clifton Robert Apple, Bertry (Jim) Garret Apple and Ezra Garfield Apple.                Surviving are two sons, Clyde Lee Crouch, Jr. (Barbara) and Donald W. Crouch; daughter-in-law, Lori Crouch;  four grandchildren, Tabitha , Chance, Ashley and Stuart;  three great-grandchildren and one sister, Shelvie Jean Hamlett (Ronnie).                The family request that memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38105 www.stjude.org or to SPCA of Pittsylvania County P.O.
