Steven Paul Miller, 64, passed from this life to the next on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, following a brief but brave battle with brain cancer at his home in Providence, NC. Steve was born in Arlington, VA, on May 7, 1954. He was married in 1975 to Edna Ann Smith and they had two daughters. He was a long-time member of The Tabernacle and an avid racing fan and mechanic. He worked as a truck driver for Houff Transfer and spent his free time salvaging, restoring and racing vintage Fords. He will be remembered as one who raised his daughters to follow Jesus and who gave generously to his friends and to countless charities whenever he saw there was a need. He is survived by his parents Donald and Beverly Miller, wife Edna, his sisters Donna Dore and Melanie Tassanari, two daughters Jennifer Love (Donald) and Valerie Snider (Phillip), and two grandsons Judah and Simon Love. The funeral will be celebrated in Townes Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 1 at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
