Russell Gregory

Russell Austin Gregory entered into rest on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at SOVAH Health Center Danville. He was born on July 22, 1943 in Hampton, VA to the late Clinton Lewis Gregory and Dorothy Austin Gregory; he proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy.  He owned and operated Gregory Electric Company. He is survived by one brother Kenneth R. Gregory of Danville, wife Arlene Gregory and three children, John R. Gregory (Beth), Nevie Marshall (Todd) and Jennifer Hughes (Brad), two grandsons, Austin Gregory and Tony Luffman, Jr. Russell was an avid motorcycle rider and loved blue grass music.  He was of the Christian faith. We would like to thank all his special friends for their love and support during his illness, we would like to also thank the staff of North Terrace at Roman Eagle Health and Rehabilitation for their special care.  At his request a private burial will be held at a later date.
