Roger Bray

Roger Winston Bray, 78, passed away on October 23, 2024, in Danville, Virginia.

Roger was born on October 3, 1946, a son of the late Thelma Augusta Eanes Bray and Hereford Franklin Bray. He graduated from Brosville High School and spent his life as a driver for UPS for about 35 years. He served his country in the United States Army. He was of the Baptist Faith. In his pastime, Roger had a passion for gardening, and he enjoyed collecting antiques at flea markets and estate sales.

Roger is survived by his wife, Eliane Bray, his daughter, Christine Bray (Lloyd Nester), his granddaughter, Ashley Hobza (Todd Hobza II), and his siblings, Hereford "Frankie" Bray II, Betty Gibson, Samuel Bray (Brigitte), Ronald Bray (Sharon).

In addition to his parents, Roger is predeceased by his sister, Patricia Davis.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Danville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. David R Turbyfill officiating.
