Ricky Dean Turner passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, in Danville, VA.
Ricky was born on June 9, 1962, the son of Marvin Jimmy Turner, Jr. and the late Elizabeth Hobbs Turner. In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Sharon Trent Turner, and several special cousins and aunts. In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his brother, Marvin Jimmy Turner III PhD, and his grandparents, Marvin Jimmy Turner, Sr., Jeraline Turner, James Hobbs and Beatrice Worley Hobbs.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Highland Burial Park, with the Dr. Danny Campbell officiating. The family will be present at the graveside an hour prior to speak to family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to The Tabernacle, 1978 South Boston Rd, Danville, VA 24540.
