Patricia Ferguson Willis, of Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Danville Va., passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Patricia was born in Danville, Va., on January 15, 1934. She was the daughter of the late William Henry Scearce and Nita Stack Scearce. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Clarence L. Ferguson, her second husband, C. Garland Willis, her sister, Madge Scearce and daughter, Denise Ferguson Wells. She is survived by her daughter, Dale Leffler (Jack), of Ohio; sons, Derek Ferguson (Karen), of California, Darrell Ferguson (Lisa), of Dry Fork, Virginia, Dru Ferguson (Linda), of Colorado; son-in-law, Larry Wells, of Indiana; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great- great grandchild. She is also survived by special cousins, Dr. Jeanne Nostrandt of Danville, Va. and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nostrandt of Richmond, Va. She was a member of Rivermont Baptist Church where she was active in the choir and assisted with youth activities. She retired from C.I.T., Danville, Va. She also served as a volunteer for God's Storehouse for several years. She was devoted to her family, loved taking photographs, and traveling. The family would like to thank the staff of Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for their kind and compassionate care during the last years of her life. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Highland Burial Park with the Pastor Daryl Joyce officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to God's Storehouse or Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association.
