Patricia Schindler

Patricia Frances Schindler passed away on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018, at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC. Patricia was born on March 19, 1952 in Queens, NY, to John and Frances Schindler. She is predeceased by a sister Jacqueline Schindler Price. Patricia graduated from Uniondale High School in Uniondale, NY, in 1970. After she received a Bachelor degree in science at Averett College in 1975. She taught at Woodlawn Academy from 1975 to 1978. She also taught at Benjamin Franklin County Middle School Health and PE from 1979 to 1992 until she retired on disability.  She has been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church since 1971. She is survived by her brother Robert Schindler, brother (Beryl) of Kenner, LA, four nieces, three nephews, four great nieces, three great nephews, Marilyn Oakes, Susan Brower and many close friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00am on Monday, November 19, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00am with Father Jonathan Goertz officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sacred Heart School or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
