Patricia Scearce

Patricia Mae Cox Scearce, 81, of Danville, VA, passed away on December 9, 2023, at her residence.

Patricia was born on March 16, 1942, a daughter of the late Percy Cox and Mary Hellen Chattin Cox. She worked as a teacher in the Danville Public Schools. She was a member of Danville Christian Fellowship.

She was married to Freddie Randolph Scearce, who survives of the residence.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by her son, David Pershing Scearce, her granddaughter, Heather N. Keatts (Steven), two great-granddaughters, Savannah and Mackenzie Keatts, her brother, Joe David Cox, and her sister, Selona Kay Wilkerson.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Christian Fellowship Church of God with Pastor Butch Robinson officiating. A visitation will be held an hour prior. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park.
