Pamela Murphy Bond, 67, of 601 Jenny Ln, Danville, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at SOVAH Health Danville. Pamela was born on November 12, 1955, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late Albert Alton Murphy and the late Violet Hazelwood Murphy. She was instrumental in the operation and success of Murphy Motor Company for many years. Pamela loved to travel, she went all over the world from backpacking in Europe to visiting New Orleans to doing her best ghost hunter impression in Savannah, GA.
She is survived by her son, Chase Bond, along with the abundance of lives and hearts that she touched along the way.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 3pm in Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Joe Northern officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the residence on Saturday prior to the graveside service. Pamela will be open for public viewing starting on Thursday at noon.
