Norman Hall

Norman Richard Hall, age 88, died peacefully on April 25, 2015. He was born on September 23, 1926 in Schoolfield, VA to H. L. Hall and Odell G. Hall. He was predeceased by his wife, Faye S. Hall, on January 28, 2003. He retired from Dan River Mills as overseer No.1 Dye House. He is survived by his children, Larry and Betsy Hall and Kim and Don Fowlkes, all of Danville, and Mark Hall of Helena, MT; grandchildren Renee Widzisz, Whitney Parks, Jonathon Fowlkes, and Jami Hyler; and 3 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Danville Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tilden Bridges officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27, from 7 to 8:30 PM at Townes Funeral Home and at other times at the residence at 127 Wendell Ct. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the charity of your choice. Townes Funeral Home and Crematory,215 West Main St, is serving the Hall family.
