Michael Scott

Michael Lynn Scott, 48, of Dry Fork, VA, passed away on September 11, 2018. He was the owner of a successful business- Scott Auto Transport. He loved the open road and enjoyed riding his Harley.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving son, husband, father and friend. He was very hardworking and was a one of a kind guy.  He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother Mealie Scott, his wife Tara Rector, baby daughter Sharla Scott, and special cousin Clara Adams. A funeral service will be held at Townes Memorial Chapel in Danville, VA, on Monday September 17, 2018 at 11 am. Family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 11 am at Townes Funeral Home and other times at the mother's residence, 698 Ferry Rd, Danville, VA.
