Mary Stoddart

Mary Haley Stoddart, 79, of Ringgold, VA passed away suddenly at Sovah Health Hospital on January 15, 2022. Mary was born on June 3, 1942 to the late Forrest and Nellie Haley in Newark, AR. After graduating from Batesville High School in 1959, she went on to study at Harding University, Arkansas College, and in 1990 earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting at Averett University. Mary worked in the healthcare industry as a transcriptionist at multiple doctors' offices and hospitals the majority of her working career. She loved flower gardening, studying genealogy, and reading. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Stoddart Wintrode (Scott) of Danville, VA, and Amy Beth Stoddart of Laguna Niguel CA; beloved granddaughter, Haley Ann Youngs (Amy) of Danville, VA; siblings, Howard Haley (Mary Ann) of Batesville, AR, Betty Rega (Nick) of Wildwood, MO, and David Haley of Ringgold, VA; an aunt, Ila Rae Fetzer of Somerville, TN; and loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
