Mary Locasto

Mary Holstine LoCasto passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She was born on April 4, 1922 in Mercersburg, PA, a daughter of the late James Alexander Holstine and Bertha Ann Lenherr Holstine. Mrs. LoCasto was a resident of Danville since 1948. She was married to the late Charles Craig LoCasto who predeceased her on December 4, 1988. She was formerly employed in the cosmetic department at L. Herman Department Store, Thalheimers, and later Belk-Leggett for 11 years. She was also millinery manager for Frances Kahn Clothing. Mrs. LoCasto was a former member of First Baptist Church and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 12 p.m. with Reverend Father Rene Castillo officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. There will be a receiving of friends one hour before the Mass. Townes Funeral Home, 215 West Main Street, is serving the LoCasto family.
