Mary Duncan

Mary Elizabeth Clayton Duncan, 90, of Abington Place, Danville, VA passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was born in Roxboro, NC on July 27, 1924 to the late Luther and Roberta Clayton. She was married to the late Weldon H. Duncan. Mary worked at Dan River Mills # 4 Grey Inspection for 35 years. She is survived by her only child, Dolores D. Brackin and her husband Dickie Brackin; two grandsons, Richie Brackin and wife Carolyn and Shane Brackin and wife Ava; and three great-grandchildren, Parker, Mackenzie, and Emma Kate Brackin. The family will receive friends at Townes Funeral Home on Saturday, March 28, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and at other times will be at her daughter's residence, 2386 Shady Grove Rd., Providence, NC. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Liberty Hospice, 500 Piney Forest Rd., Suite G, Danville, VA 24540. Townes Funeral Home, 215 West Main Street, is serving the family.
