Marion (Bud) Comer, went to Heaven on June 9, 2016, at Danville Regional Medical Center, after being in declining health for the past couple of years. He was born January 8, 1927, in Charleston, Illinois, the son of Glen and Eva Comer. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Ruth Comer. After his enlistment in the Navy during WWII, he moved to Danville and taught Auto-Mechanics at DCC, until his retirement. Bud was a member of First Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter Rececca Turner; a son Terry Comer of Danville; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted by the Reverend John Carroll on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Townes Memorial Chapel at 3 pm, with visitation prior to the service from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family suggests that In lieu of flowers donations be made to the Danville Life Saving Crew.
