Mae Collins

Mae Brown Collins Memorial Video      Beulah Mae Brown Collins, 86, passed away on Thursday afternoon, January 11, 2018 in the Roman Eagle Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.      She was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on January 11, 1932 a daughter of the late Eugene Brown and Beulah Mary Moss Brown.      Mae was employed with Dan River, Inc. for 32 years until her retirement.  She was of the Baptist Faith.      In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, David Keen Collins; 3 brothers, 5 sisters and 3 great-grandchildren.      She is survived by a son, David Keith Collins; three daughters, Clara Mae Collins (Kevin Duncan), Anita Faye Evans (Victor) and Kathy Lucinda Collins (Danny Gleber); a brother, J. Herbert Brown (Etta); a sister Juanita Brown Holley; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.      Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2 pm at Townes Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Clayton Murphy officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Burial Park.      The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 4 to 6 pm.
