Mrs. Lucy Ingram Dillard, age 88 of 869 Oak Grove Road in Keeling died at her residence on Monday, May 31, 2021 after a decline in health. Mrs. Dillard was born in Danville on April 25, 1933, a daughter of the late Robert Wade Ingram and Doris Hardy Ingram. Mrs. Dillard attended Mount Tabor Baptist Church and was married to the late Jessie Cecil Dillard who died in 2007. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by two brothers and one sister; Robert Ingram, Harry Ingram and Mary I. Terry. Mrs. Dillard is survived by one son; Gary Cecil Dillard of Ashland and one daughter Sheila D. Davidson and her husband Tim of Keeling. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Dana Reyes (Diago), Alicia Wood (Jonny), Kimberly Wiles and Charles Dillard and eight great-grandchildren; Broderick Reyes (Sarah), Ethan Reyes, Noah Wood, Elijah Wood, Harrison Wiles, Kennedy Wiles and Adalynn Smith. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Townes Memorial Chapel with the Reverend David Turbyfill officiating. A private interment follow in the Hardy family cemetery. The family will receive friends at Townes Funeral Home on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 1 to 2 P.M. and at other times will be at the residence, 869 Oak Grove Road in Keeling.
