Louise Conway

Louise Throckmorton Conway, of Danville, VA, died on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the Danville Regional Medical Center.     She was born on January 23, 1930 in Prince Edward County, VA, the daughter of the late Ella Womack Throckmorton and T. Tulane Throckmorton. Louise worked in interior design for over 30 years and loved to make things beautiful.  She wanted to be remembered as a person who could make you laugh.     Louise was married to the late French H. Conway.  They shared 44 years of entertaining friends and living life to the fullest.     She is survived by her daughters, Helen Bedsole and husband, Carl, and Donna LeFevers; four granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.     At her request, graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Burial Park in Chatham, VA, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Robert Ramey officiating.     The family will receive friends at the home of Helen and Carl Bedsole, 111 Bridgewater Court, Danville.     Donations in her memory, may be made to the Friendship Class, FUMC, 1013 Westover Drive, Danville, VA 24541 or to the charity of your choice.
