Lelia Jane Maynard

Lelia Jane Maynard, 98, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on January 19, 2025.

Jane was born on November 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Robert Stanley Maynard and Lelia Vance Lowder Maynard. She worked as a textile administrative assistant. She was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church (in Danville) and Selwyn United Methodist Church (in Charlotte). She had a passion for knitting, reading, and baking.

Jane is survived by a niece, Elizabeth Archer Fuller of Pisgah Forest, NC, a godchild, Jane Fisher McElhaney of Lake Wateree, South Carolina, and a cousin, Betty Francis Roberts of Charlotte, NC.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Betty Maynard Fuller and brother-in-law, Archer L. Fuller, Jr.

The graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Highland Burial Park.
