Judy Lewis Tuck, age 66, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 at her residence after a decline in health for the past 3 years. She was born in Danville, Va. on January 16, 1948, a daughter of the late Calvin Fuller Lewis and Clara Royster Lewis. Judy was married to Harry Brooks, Jr. who passed away on August 30, 1984. On February 6, 1998 she married Edward Tuck. She was a graduate of George Washington High School and was employed with Danville Regional Medical Center, Thalhimer's Department Store and later with Sears until she retired in 1998. She was a member of Woodberry Hills Baptist Church. Judy is survived by her husband, Edward Tuck of South Boston, Va.; two daughters, Natalie B. Whitlow and husband William and Lori Brooks Luther and Chris all of Danville; four grandchildren, Tyler Lewis Whitlow, Brianna Whitlow, Cami Whitlow and Christopher Luther; and an aunt, Ruth Pearson of Danville. She was predeceased by an uncle, Robert Pearson. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21, at 2:00 pm at Townes Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Randy Holmes and the Reverend Norman Talley officiating. Burial will be in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm and at other times will be at the residence.
