Joseph Danko

JOSEPH EDWARD DANKO II passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.    Joe was born May 8, 1971 in Akron, OH. He was the oldest son of Joseph and Eileen Danko. Joe graduated from George Washington High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. He was a dedicated employee for Lowe's Home Improvement and enjoyed hiking and biking.    Joe is survived by his parents; his daughter Ava Marie Danko; his sister Lori and her husband James Buchanan; his brother Steve Danko; and his two nephews Blake and Brandon Buchanan.    A service will be held at 11 am at Townes Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25, 2017.  Visitation will be 1 hour before and 1 hour after the service. Informal reception will take place at 1319 Jamerson Road.    Monetary contributions may be made to the Danko family. Townes Funeral Home is serving the Danko family.
