Johnnie Coleman of Danville VA went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 8, 2013. He Born June 14, 1957 in Pikeville, K, to Dan and Juanita Coleman, Johnnie lived most of his life in Danville where he met the love of his life Dianne Keesee Coleman, whom he was married to for 31 years until Dianne's passing on March 30, 2011. Johnnie was a member of Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church, was an avid Redskins and Rusty Wallace fan and loved coaching children's softball when his daughters were young. Johnnie worked at Good Year Tire and Rubber Co. for 35 years until he retired in 2011 due to health issues. Johnnie was a strong man who taught his family how to laugh and love, and he was adored by his many nieces and nephews. Johnnie is survived by three beautiful daughters Lauren Ann, Amber Dianne, and Kara Laine. He is also survived by his precious Grandson Kolton Daniel who was his heart and soul. Johnnie is survived by his brother Danny Coleman and wife Susan of Danville, Sister Donna Talent of Danville, Sister Pam Shelton and husband Curtis of Dry Fork, Sister Selena Reynolds of Danville, and Sister Ann Austin and husband Melvin of Danville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Townes Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael Hearp and Reverend Susan Hannah officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Burial Park, The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM, Tuesday, December 10, at Townes Funeral Home and will be at the residence at other times.
