Joe Robert Reinhardt, Jr.

Joe Robert Reinhardt, Jr., 65, of Danville, VA, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Joe was born on January 1, 1960, a son of the late Joe Robert Reinhardt, Sr. and Jetty Ruth Swofford Reinhardt. He served in the United States National Guard and spent his life working as a food safety manager. He was a nondenominational free lance preacher. He had a passion for tanks, stemming from his work as a turret mechanic in the army. He loved animals, including his 17 cats. Joe was known for his wicked sense of humor.

Joe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathryn Reinhardt, five children, Jessica R. Reinhardt (Ronnie Guill, Ashton Amato), Jacquline Dutton (Joe), Amanda Reinhardt (Justin Gant), Samuel Reinhardt, and Thomas Reinhardt, fourteen greatly loved grandchildren, his sister, Lisa Baney, and his best friend and sister-in-law, Anika Cameron.

In addition to his parents, Joe is predeceased by his sister, Vickie Knight.
