Jayne Webb

Jayne Dorethea Webb, age 53, died suddenly at her residence on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.   She was born in Waycross, GA on September 18, 1962, a daughter of the late Joseph Lee Webb and Ruth Louise Wilson Webb.   She had been affiliated with the Red Cross as a grant writer.  She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed participating in political events.     Surviving are her sister; Jo Ann W. Moore (Fred) of Providence, NC, brothers; Allen L. Webb (Carolyn) of Portland, OR and George W. Webb (Tracy) of Durham, NC.  Also surviving are three nieces.   It was Jayne's request that there be no funeral service.   Townes Funeral Home and Crematory, 215 West Main Street is serving the Webb family.
