Jayne Blair

Jayne Wentz Blair, age 73, of 37 Sanford Street, Danville, VA, passed away on June 27, 2017 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Mrs. Blair was born on May 1, 1944 and was the daughter of Jerry E. Wentz, Sr. and the late Lelia B. Wentz.   She is survived by her husband, Leslie Blair of the residence; her daughter, Tammy Vaughan and husband, Donnie Vaughan; her granddaughter Shelby Vaughan and grandson, Colby Vaughan, all of Danville, VA.  She is also survived by two brothers, Jerry E. Wentz, Jr. and wife, Phyllis, of Danville, VA and William I. Wentz of Coconut Grove, FL.  In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas W. Wentz.  The family would like to thank the staff of the West Wing of Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care they gave her for the past four years.   The family will receive friends on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 7:30PM at Townes Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Danville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Scott Randlett officiating.   Because of her love of animals, in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that memorials be made to the Danville Area Humane Society.  Condolences may be made to 37 Sanford Street, Danville, VA or 1905 Inman Road, Danville, VA.
