Mr. Jimmy Motley's struggle on this earth has ended. He died on Friday, April 4, 2014 at his residence. Jimmy was born in Danville on March 29, 1960, a son of the late Nancy McAlister Motley Haden and Hughes Wilkinson Motley. He was a member of Rivermont Baptist Church and had worked at Wise-Hundley Electric Company for thirty-two years. Jimmy was a graduate of George Washington High School and was an avid gun collector. He is survived by his wife of the home, Fran Clark Motley; his daughter, Lindsey Kreger of the home; his favorite in laws, Bill and Nancy Clark; and his aunts, Annie Laurie Willis, Danville, Marilyn Snead of Charleston, SC and Betty Sartin of Providence, NC. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. from the graveside at Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Wayne Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at Townes Funeral Home on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 7 to 8:30 P.M. and at other times will be at the residence,128 Winthrop Court.
