James Thomas Burgess, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Wilton Manor Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was born in Danville, Va. on October 22, 1950 to the late J. T. Burgess and Mildred Burton Burgess. James was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Private entombment will be held in Danville Memorial Gardens.
