VIEW MEMORIAL TRIBUTEhttp://videos.lifetributes.com/851884 Henry Lee Andrews, Jr., 86, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born on July 26, 1931 in Pittsylvania County, Va. a son of the late Henry Lee Andrews and Cassie Barley Andrews. Henry was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in the United States Army 101St Airborne. Following his service in the Army he moved to Danville and joined Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company. He later was associated with Marshall Concrete Products retiring as vice-president in 1996. He later owned and operated Print-N-Copy Center for 10 years. Henry was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 60 years. He was also a member of the Danville Kiwanis Club, the Poquoson Tribe 124 Improved Order of Redmen and the American Legion Post 325. On November 1, 1952 he married the former Betty Scruggs. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Henry is survived by his wife Betty of the residence; two daughters, Kay Andrews Bagby of Danville, Kathy Andrews Bottoms and her husband, Scottie of Danville; three grandchildren, Kari Bagby and her husband, Kyle, Rebecca Bagby and her fianceé, Casey Jones, and Jacob “Dude” Bottoms; a sister, Carrie Barbour and her husband, Everett of South Hill, Va. and a brother, Carroll Andrews and his wife, LaVerne of Gretna, Va. Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 3 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Reverend Bobbie J. Henley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm and at other times will be at the residence.
