Franklin Oakes Gammon Jr., 62 of 257 Manor Place, Danville, Virginia passed away on Sunday, October 9th, 2022 at SOVAH Health in Danville. He was born on April 5th, 1960 to the late Franklin Oakes Gammon, Sr. and Lavonne Million Gammon. He was married to Betty Ann Gammon on March 19th, 1992. He was predeceased by his brother, Kevin Eckle Gammon, who he shared his love of golf and sports with. He is survived by his wife Betty Ann Gammon and his son Ryne Franklin Gammon, both of Danville. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Kimberly Gammon of Beech Island, SC. He was an avid golfer and a long time member of Southern Hills Golf Course, formerly known as Glen Oak Country Club. He was also recently retired from his job as Service Manager of Wilco Janitorial Supplies in Danville. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 13th at 11:00am at Highland Burial Park by Rev. David Turbyfill. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
