Frank Bridges, 77, of Danville, husband of Judy Bridges, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at his residence. Born in Danville on September 8, 1941, he was a son of the late Garland Elmo Bridges and Margaret Franklin Bridges. Frank served his country by joining the United States Air Force. He was a hardworking man with high energy work ethics. He worked for Pepsi Cola Bottling Company and John Ring’s Quik-E-Shop. He always enjoyed conversations with everyone especially when he was telling his tall tales. Frank loved to get outside and walk his dog, Spirit. His greatest love was his family. He always enjoyed time spent with his loved ones especially when there was a large bowl of popcorn with Hershey kisses involved. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Steve, and wife, Michelle, of Asheville, NC and Philip, and wife Becky, of Waxhaw, NC; seven grandchildren, Michael, Katy, Abby, John, Annabelle, Isabelle, and Jordan Peter; and his devoted companion, Spirit. Frank will be honored in memory by his family and friends in a private service.
