Esther Ferrell

Esther "Sweet" P. Ferrell, age 96, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She is survived by a brother, John Berkley Ferrell, of Chesapeake, Virginia, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She had an extensive career at Dan River Mills and was a devoted member of West End Christian Church. The family will receive visitors at Townes Funeral Home on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Danville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Carl Burger officiating . Townes Funeral Home, 215 West Main Street, is serving the Ferrell family.
