Elizabeth Ann Hobbs Turner, 82, of Danville, the wife of Marvin Jimmy Turner, Jr., went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was born on November 20, 1939, a daughter of the late James and Beatrice Worley Hobbs. Elizabeth, along with her husband Jimmy, were members of The Tabernacle in Danville. Her greatest enjoyment were her two sons, whom she loved so very much. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Ricky Dean Turner; a daughter-in-law, Sharon T. Turner; a sister, Judy Hobbs Smith (Dick); two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Turner Campbell and Edna Turner Barbour (Thomas); numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Charlotte and Richard Rowland. She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Jimmy Turner, III; a sister, Betty Jean Hartman; a brother, Buddy Lee Hobbs; mother-in-law, Jereline Saunders Turner and father-in-law, Marvin Jimmy Turner, Sr. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Burial Park with Dr. Danny Campbell officiating.
