Dorothy Mcdaniel

Dorothy Anne Fowler Daniels McDaniel, 87, of Ferry Road passed away on Saturday October 22, 2016 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Born November 20, 1928 in Danville VA.  She was the daughter of Marion Heisem Osborne Fowler and Frank Montgomery Fowler Sr.  She was first married to the late Doug Daniels Sr.  and later married the late Posey "Mac" McDaniel.  She is also predeceased by a sister, Marion Colenda. She retired from Dan River Mills sewing room.   Survivors  include her sons:  Danny Daniels (Helen), Kenny Daniels, Terry Daniels (Pat), Mike Daniels (Susan), Harry Daniels (Barbara) and Donnie Daniels.  Ten grandchildren and Nine great grandchildren.  One brother, Frank Fowler Jr.(Nancy) of Greensboro NC  and numerous nieces and nephews.  The  family will receive friends at Townes Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 25th from 12:30 to 1:30PM followed by a graveside service at 2:00PM at Danville Memorial Gardens.  Other times the family will be at the home of Kenny Daniels, 317 Foster Rd.  Danville.
