David Fralin

David Louis Fralin, Sr., 88, passed away Sunday morning, July 28, 2019 in SOVAH Danville.      He was born in Danville on November 2, 1930, a son of the late Gordon Godfrey Fralin and Ruth Figg Fralin.      David was employed with Dan River, Inc. for 35 years until his retirement. He was a member of River of Life Church. He was married to Nancy Bousman Fralin who passed away on May 9, 2018.      He is survived by a son, David L. Fralin, Jr. and his wife, Kimberly of Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Victoria Fralin Douglas of Danville; four grandchildren, Christopher, Robert, Laura and Michael; a brother, Gordon Godfrey Fralin, Jr. of Whitestone, Va.; and a sister, Mary Fralin Dickerson of Virginia Beach, Va.      A gathering of family and friends to Celebrate the life of David L. Fralin, Sr. will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM at River of Life Church.    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to River of Life Church, 360 Sonshine Drive, Ringgold, VA 24586.      Townes Funeral Home is assisting the Fralin family.
