Darlene Mort

Darlene Marie Adams Mort, 68, of Danville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, after a long-term illness. Darlene was born April 7, 1950, in Akron, Ohio. She is survived by her children, Desiree Kuhn and E. T. Eberts, both of Onancock, VA; and grandchildren, John Hall of Centreville, VA, Alyssah Kuhn of Onancock, VA, Wesley and Aidan Eberts of Onancock, VA.  She is also survived by her brother, Jack H. Adams, Roxboro, NC and sisterTammy Adams of Danville.  Darlene was a long time Danville resident and worked for the Danville Public School System for many years, focusing on children with special needs.  She had a unique gift working with those children and in return they all loved her dearly.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her and called her friend. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 11 A.M. from Townes Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Herbert Brown officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M.
