Daniel Nester

Daniel “Danny” Lewis Nester, 68, husband of Kathy T. Nester, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at his residence.      Born in Dublin, VA, he was the son of the late Wiley L. and Dorothy McDaniel Nester.      Danny loved spending time with his family, especially his son and grandsons. He worked for 33 years with Kroger Company, where he retired as Vice President of Logistics.      In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Joel Patrick Nester, and wife, Adrian; and two grandsons, Patrick Daniel and Liam Averett Nester.      The family has assurance of seeing Danny again because of his last conversations with Joel. Danny aligned with Romans 3:23 and John 3:16; understanding his sins could only be covered by belief in Christ as his Savior.
