Dale Slayton

Dale Ellen Slayton, 59, died Tuesday, February 17, 2105 at the Emporia Manor Nursing Home in Emporia, VA following years of struggle with a chronic illness. She was born on April 2, 1955 in Danville and was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Slayton and Margaret Vernon Slayton. She is survived by her brother, James David Slayton and his wife, Janet Holley of Danville. Rather than a traditional memorial service, the family will have a private graveside service at Highland Burial Park.
