Clara Durham

Clara Young Durham, 97, passed away Tuesday morning, July 9, 2019 at Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.        She was born November 22, 1921 in Pittsylvania County, VA, a daughter of Henry Emerson Young and Viola Beggarly Young.        Clara was married to Linwood Haig Durham who passed away December 17, 1987.        She is survived by two daughters, Lynn D. Warren of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Terri D. Dalrymple (Ed) of Colorado; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Y. Burn of Danville.       Clara was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.       Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM, at Townes Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Susan Hannah officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.       The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
