Charles “Chuck” Kaake, Jr., 68, of 2427 Mountain Hill Rd., Ringgold, VA, went Home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, December 21, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Chuck was born on March 22, 1956, in New Castle, WY, a son of the late Charles Leslie Kaake, Sr. and the late Wanda Thompson Kaake. His love of horses and auctioneering took him to many places over his lifetime. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Chuck was married to Jennifer “Jenni” Morris Kaake, whom he cherished.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jamie Bowen (Josh), of Walkertown, NC; four step-children, Jessy Barker, Kasey Adkins, Tristan Aaron, and Savannah “Vanny” Hazelwood, who was the apple of his eye; five grandchildren Aiden Bowen, Nova-Lee McDowell, Gracie Bowen, Karson McDowell, Ezekiel Bowen; a brother, Lee Kaake (Susie), of Ft Worth, Tx; and his beloved dog, Diesel.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a sister, Ginger Steele.
A memorial service will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Allen Morris officiating.
The family will be receiving friends at the residence.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Medi Home Hospice for excellent care of Chuck.
