Nancy “Carolyn” Owen Beale, 85, Peacefully entered Heaven on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

Nancy was born on September 10, 1937, in Danville, Virginia, and was predeceased by her parents, Bunny and Mildred Carter Owen, and a sister-in-law, Pattie Owen.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Mary Carter Beale, three sons, James R. "Jimmy" Beale, Jr. and his wife Karen, Thomas Bryan Beale and his wife Karen, and Michael Alan Beale, Sr., five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Claude (Lamar) Owen, David Owen and her sister Cynthia (Perry) McGregor, several nieces and nephews, and her faithful and loving companion, David Hill.

She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a former member of Westover Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school to the Helping Hands Class. She always had a special place in her heart for helping others.

From beauty pageants to modelling for local retailers, her love for fashion was with her to the end. She will always be remembered for her sparkle and glam.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 1st, at the Owen Farm Loft, 1251 Stony Mill Road at 2:00 PM. A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.

The family would like to extend a word of thanks and gratitude to Gretna Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care given to their loved one.
