Calvin Homer Hall, 77, passed away Thursday evening, November 17, 2022, at his residence. He was born on July 28, 1945 in Danville, Va. the son of the late Otis Edward Hall and Jenny Stowe Hall. Calvin was a graduate of George Washington High School and attended Virginia Tech. He was the former owner of Carolina Truss Company and later was co-owner of H2H until his retirement. Calvin was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Judy Carr Hall of the home; a son, Grant Edward Hall and his wife Teresa, and grandson, Tucker Hall all of Monroe, N. C.; a step-son, Jeff Whitley and his wife, Tonia, and a granddaughter, Carter Paige Whitley all of Danville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Reverend David Bell and the Reverend Rick Markham officiating. Burial will follow In Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. and at other times will be at the residence, 202 Tyler Drive.
