Bruce Hutcheson

Bruce Leland Hutcheson, Jr., 87, of Danville, VA passed away at Stratford Rehabilitation Center on June 1, 2018.    He was born on June 12, 1930 in Flint Michigan, to the late Bruce Leland Hutcheson and Thelma I. VanEvery Hutcheson.    He was first married to Toreasa G. Hutcheson, who died in 2007. He later married Xuerong “Jessie” Ling Hutcheson who survives of the residence.    Bruce was a veteran having served in the United States Navy. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a 33rd degree Mason of the Danville Scottish Rites Bodies, a Master Mason of the Morotok Lodge #210, and a member of the Improved Order of the Redmen. He retired from the City of Danville where he had worked as an electrical inspector.    In addition to his wife, “Jessie”, he is survived by several cousins.    A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Mountain View Cemetery with the Reverend John Carroll officiating.    The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Covenant Reformed Baptist Church, 6611 Old NC Highway 86, Providence, NC 27315.
