Bernice Marshall

Bernice Shelton Marshall, 94, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 30, 2017 in Roman Eagle Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.      She was born in Pittsylvania County, Va. on December 14, 1923 a daughter of the late Dallas Shelton and Mattie Davis Shelton.      Bernice was predeceased by her husband, Rora J. Marshall; three brothers, Henry Shelton, Howard Shelton and William Shelton; and five sisters, Sandrell Payne, Helen Moser, Georgia Rigney, Lyde Shelton and Alice Douglas.  She was a member of Floral Hills United Methodist Church.      She is survived by two brothers, Willard Shelton and Lillard Shelton and his wife, Christine; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2 pm in Highland Burial Park with the Reverend Winston Crichlow officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
