Austin Green

Austin Middleton Green died at home Wednesday, June 11, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Austin was born in Danville, VA on January 14, 1984. He graduated from New River Community College with an Associates Degree and Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies Production Technology, where he discovered his passion for film and photography. While working professionally with Sigma Xi in Cary, NC, Austin turned his passion into a successful wedding photography business, Bow Tie Collaborative, with his wife, Ashley. Austin is survived by his loving wife, Ashley Moyer Green, his children, Abigail Catherine and James Austin Green, his parents, H. Peyton and Catherine Green, his brother H. Peyton Green with wife, Alissa, his sister, Leila Catherine Green with boyfriend, Jeremy Connell, two nieces, Caroline and Ella Green, and his grandmother, Lucile Green. Austin fought a courageous battle against Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma, and he wanted us all to know that upon going with the Lord, he won that battle. Donations to the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation in memory of Austin are welcome and appreciated - www.fibrofoundation.org A service will be held on Monday, June 16th at 11:00am at First Presbyterian Church in Danville, VA. A reception will follow, location to be announced at the service.
