Aubrey Price

Junior Aubrey Price, 85, beloved husband of the late Ruth Francisco Price, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 7, 1934 in Schoolfield, VA, he was the youngest of seven children born to Margie Fearn Price and Henry Seldon Price. Aubrey attended Schoolfield High School and went on to serve his country overseas in the US Army. He was a member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church in Danville, VA for over 40 years and was strongly dedicated to his faith and family. He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Price Griffith and Retha Price Parcell; two granddaughters, Stephanie Varner Willis and husband Matt, and Rebecca Audrey Parcell; one great grandson, Wyatt Owen Willis; one brother, Norman Price and wife Catherine; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents and his loving wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Herman, Clifford, and Norval Price; and two sisters, Estelle Price Kendrick and Joyce Price Pembelton. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Chromy officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45pm at the church and at other times at the residence of his daughter, Rhonda.
