Allen Moore

Allen Earl Moore, age 86, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 in SOVAH Health Danville VA.      He was born August 11, 1931 in Danville, a son of Edward Harrison Moore and Dora Maddox Moore.      He served in an artillery battalion of the U.S Army during the Korean War, and was a Linotype operator with Ennis printers.      He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother, Jesse Moore; sisters, Lois Jeffress, Imojean Quinn, Pauline Dickinson, Thelma Young and Mabel Anderson.      Graveside services will be held at Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 am, at Danville Memorial Gardens with visitation at the home of Gerald Anderson at 433 Williamson Rd, Danville, VA following the funeral service.
